Using Tips:
1. Cut the silver antibacterial dressing to an appropriate size according to the size of the wound (sterile scissors are recommended).
2. The silver absorbent pad should be used together with the outer dressing. Depending on the clinical condition of the wound, hydrocolloid or Biatain foam dressings may be used.
3. When the silver absorbent pad is soaked by exudate, it needs to be replaced in time. When granulation tissue begins to form and exudate decreases, the frequency of dressing changes should decrease accordingly. In the beginning, the dressing is usually changed every day. Each piece of silver absorbent pad can cover the wound for no more than seven days.
4. The filling strip must be filled loosely and evenly in the wound.
The Advantage of Silver Absorbent Pad
1. Antibacterial and antibacterial properties: positively charged silver ions react with negatively charged sulfur groups in bacterial proteases, causing proteins to rapidly lose their activity due to the loss of sulfur groups, resulting in bacteria being unable to divide and reproduce and being killed.
